Badminton Anyone?

Gramps came over yesterday bearing gifts for Stetson. He found a badminton set that is perfect for a little boy. Stetson was very curious as to exactly what it was.

"Look, Mommy! Gramps brought me this...um....this thing!" (Notice the huge smile on his face)

"Ok, Gramps, show me what this thing does. It looks pretty fun!"

"Very cool! Let me try it!!"

Daddy just couldn't resist getting in on the action. He gave Stetson a lesson in "proper form".

Thank you for Stetson's badminton set! I'm not sure who is having more fun with it, though...Stetson or his Daddy. What a great gift!

Better!

Just like the doctor predicted, after 48 hours of being on antibiotics Stetson was pretty close to normal. In fact, he even wanted to go outside and play yesterday. It was a little chilly but it was good to see him running around again.

Stetson also returned to school today and was able to get all his Valentine's from his friends. He was so excited when we went through them all when we got home tonight. He got lots of cool things like candy, bubbles, Play-Doh, crayons, etc.

Stetson also looks pretty snazzy in one of the shirts that Aunt Mo sent him. Thanks, Aunt Monica!!

Friday the 13th

Do you believe in the curse of Friday the 13th? We don't but today has not been the best of days. Stetson was all excited to go to his Valentine Party at school today. We baked sugar cookies to bring, made Valentine cards to give to his friends, and picked out a gift for both his teachers. Best of all, though, it was a pizza party (one of his favorites)!!

I'm sure you've already picked up on the fact that Stetson wasn't able to go to his party. He is still sick and I took him to the doctor this morning. Mr. Stetso has a severe case of strep throat...poor baby. We have antibiotics now and he should definitely be feeling better in approximately 48 hours.

In other news, Stetson has received some Valentine's from Mama Bear and Papa Bear as well as Nonnie. They have been the highlight of his week! Thank you so much!

Growing and Growing

I've had requests for belly shots lately, so I figured I would appease everyone. It is amazing how much larger I am with this pregnancy but what can you do?? Our little girl has made herself quite comfortable.

Under the Weather

Stetson got sick Tuesday night and was not feeling well at all today. It just breaks my heart to see him like this. It is not very often that an almost three year old does nothing but lie on the couch and stare into space. If he wasn't doing this, he was in my lap.

I could only take pictures when he wasn't in my lap (which wasn't very often). Here he is awake...
And asleep. He slept most of the day, which is exactly what he needed.
