Father's Day

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!!  The kids were so excited for Daddy to open the gifts they made especially for him.  They worked hard on their little projects and it shows!

Stetson could hardly stay still while J began to open his presents.
Stetson made him a card that read "You light up my life" and hand-painted a flashlight for him!  Perfect!
Little Miss Cassidy made Daddy a card and a picture frame that said "Super Star" with a picture of her kissing him inside.  It's definitely a keeper!
Happy Father's Day!

Primrose News

Last week was the first week of Camp Primrose (Summer Program) for Stetson and Cassidy's first week in the Preschool class.  It's hard to believe she's in Preschool already!  Anyway, they both had great weeks and I received pictures of their fun so I thought I would share.

Stetson went on a field trip to Grisham Farms on Wednesday. He saw lots of cool animals and got to feed goats, llamas and sheep. There was a cool tree house that they all had fun climbing on too.
Each Friday is Splash Day!  Oh, to be a kid again...
Even Cassidy gets to enjoy Splash Day.  I think she is ready (second from right).
Oh, she is definitely ready!  I can just hear her squealing through the picture while doing her "ants in her pants" dance.  :)
And away she goes!  Too fun!
Hopefully I will receive more pictures this week that I can share.  Primrose is cool!

Tea Party

Cassidy was invited to her very first tea party for Kyndall's birthday.  If you don't recall, Kyndall is one of Cassidy's friends from the old Primrose.  Her big brother, Wade, and Stetson are a month apart in age and Kyndall and Cassidy are just two weeks apart.

Anyway, Cassidy was BEYOND excited to get all dressed up for the tea party.  She even insisted on wearing jewelry and taking her new purse from Gramps.
Where do these poses come from?
We went to a real tea room for the party and I was amazed when we arrived.  It honestly far exceeded my expectations.  It was a REAL tea party!  Just look at the decor!  The dining table...
The fireplace decor...
They even had REAL tea cups!  Heather, Kyndall's mom, made the adorable edible tea cups on the table as well.
The menu items...ham and cheese croissants, peanut butter finger sandwiches, mini chocolate chip muffins, fruit salad, scones, and water melon slices!
For dessert, the girls each got to choose a cupcake and decorate it to their liking. I am so glad I got to attend this tea party as well! Wow!
Heather, Kyndall, Diddy Bug and me.
It's tea party time!  How cute are they?!
Cassidy's first lesson on how to hold a tea cup properly and to sip tea.  She's a natural.
She was well into her meal by this time and enjoying every moment.  What a big girl!
She had fun decorating her cupcake as well. Everything had to be placed perfectly to her liking.
Another item in the room was a mannequin wearing a wedding dress.  Cassidy thought the dress was beautiful and wanted to take a picture with it because she was wearing a beautiful white dress too (her words, not mine, although I agree).
Beautiful Cassidy
One day, sweetie, one day.  Please don't grow up too fast!

Birthday Celebration

Rather than a big party, J decided to just have a small celebration at home with the kids. We had a nice dinner followed by cake and gifts.  It was fun!

The kids each gave Daddy a card they signed themselves.
The kids and I gave him the Keen sandals he's been eyeing for a while now.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to make a homemade birthday cake (so sorry) but I did buy his favorite...german chocolate.
Happy Birthday!!  We love you!

Happy Birthday, J!!

Happy Birthday to BEST husband, father, and best friend any person could ever ask for.  We love you more than you will ever know and hope all your birthday wishes come true.  You deserve nothing but the absolute best that life has to offer.  Enjoy your special day!

Caden's T-ball Game

We went to watch Caden play in one of his t-ball games today coached by his Daddy. Stetson is SO into baseball right now and was excited to see his friend in action. It was fun!

I got to see my little boyfriend, Cameron, too.  He's such a cutie!
Game time!!  Caden was ready!
So was Tim!  He looked like a giant out there with all the boys but did an excellent job coaching them.
Caden at bat!  Just look at his form after hitting the ball.  He's a pro already.
Here is Caden sliding into home!  Great job!
He is proudly walking back to the dugout after his home run.
Cassidy loves Bamber!
Good game, Dodgers!
Thanks for letting us come cheer you on, Cade Man!  You are a FABULOUS baseball player!

Cassidy's Slide Show

I have now added a slide show for Cassidy's third year of life as well.  Staying true to form, do not view it unless you have plenty of time to sit through my millions of pictures.  You can either choose it from the slide show list or just click here.  Enjoy!

End of the Year Pool Party

Stetson was invited to Aidan's house today for an end of the year pool party.  It was so much fun and a great start to Summer!  Luckily, I had the day off so I could enjoy the festivities with him.

I actually got him out of the water to eat a little bit, but he never took his eyes off what was happening in the pool.
I mean, would you take your eyes off all this?
All the boys had a blast swimming, jumping off the side of the pool, and dancing to the music.

Thanks, Aidan, for inviting Stetson to your party!  He is absolutely exhausted now!

He graduated!!

Stetson graduated from Kindergarten this morning!!  It is hard to believe that THIS was back in August and here we are today.  What a wonderful year he has had too!  Stetson, we are proud of all you accomplished this school year and for the person you are growing to be.

Ready to take his walk across the stage...
Getting closer...
ConGRADulations, Stetson!!!

After the ceremony, we were invited back to Mrs. Heilman's classroom for breakfast and a little presentation.  She made a slide show of the entire school year set to music, which was so fun to watch.
He even got a diploma today!
It's hard to believe, but it's true...Stetson is a first grader now!
Before that, though, we have the whole Summer to relax and enjoy!
