Mama Bear's Birthday

Happy Birthday, Mama Bear!  We had a small celebration at our house this evening and had lots of fun.  Mama Bear brought over Pei Wei (long story on why SHE brought over dinner) and it was SO yummy!  After dinner, she opened her gifts.

She had helpers, of course.

She got a bag of goodies to pamper herself with.

We also had tiramisu for dessert.

As well as the delicious cake Aunt Nick made for Mama Bear earlier in the day.

Cassidy had to show Mama Bear that she is not biting her fingernails in hopes that Mama Bear will use some of her new nail polish on her.

Western Day

Today is Western Day for Cassidy!  She makes such a cute little cowgirl!!  Thanks again for the boots, Mama Bear.  They are definitely getting used!

Crazy Hair Day

Cassidy had crazy hair day at school today!  I wish I had taken video of her because she kept shaking her head and saying "I have ca-raaaaaaaaaaaa-zy hair!"

What's Happening at Our House?

We are the hot topic of the neighborhood these days!  Why is that?  Well, take a look at what's happening in our front yard...

We have plumbing issues!  The city had to come out and dig up our sidewalk and fix a pipe that connected to their main sewer pipe.  They worked day and night.  That didn't solve the problem, though, so they had to come back later and the whole right side of our front yard.

So this is what our front yard looks like now.   Beautiful, huh?

I hope to show you pictures of our beautiful new yard soon, though!  The cement on the sidewalk has been re-poured and the yard has been back-filled.  Now we just wait for the beautification process.  Good news, though, is that our plumbing issues are fixed!!

Baseball Tryouts

Watch out, world!  We have another baseball player in the making!  Stetson chose to play baseball this Spring and had to go through tryouts to be placed on a team.  He has been working so hard with Daddy perfecting his skills in preparation for today.

The long awaited day has arrived and he is ready!

He got his number and hoped everyone noticed it.

And they're off!  They were explaining the whole process at this point.

Then they headed to the dugout to await their turn.

Go, Stetson!!  I can't believe how big he looks here!

Stetson did so well!  We are so proud of him and now can't wait to find out which team he is on and get the season started!!  We'll keep you posted.
