Trick or Treat

After waiting ALL day, it is finally time to go trick-or-treating!!  This is what Halloween is all about!  Who wants candy???

We always trick-or-treat with our neighbors but our group has GROWN!  This is just the kids!

I have to give J a huge shout out for driving us all around.  He drove the Ranger and pulled the kids on the trailer, while the parents walked. Organized chaos is the best way to describe it.

Sadly, this is the only picture I took during our adventure.  There were just too many kiddos to keep up with!

When we were all done, I had to snap a picture of these two though.  This was Gage's first time to go trick-or-treating EVER.  It is safe to say that he is hooked for life.   Welcome to childhood, Gage!

And Little Miss Ryan continues to melt my heart. This was her first Halloween and she makes a perfect lil' punkin!

Halloween Gift from Aunt Mo

Every year Aunt Mo sends the kids a Halloween treat, which they love!  This year was no different. We waited until Halloween morning before school to open the package.

Best Buds

I just think this picture is absolutely precious. Cassidy and McKenna are becoming the best of friends!  Today they went for a walk on the trail together after going for frozen yogurt, shopping at the mall, and then playing at McKenna's house.

The Big Bang Theory

J and I attended a Halloween party and for the first time in a long time, we had to wear a costume. Oh the decision on who or what to be is so hard! We finally decided to be Sheldon and Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory.  If you watch the show, you get it.  If you don't, I guess you'll have to Google it.

It was fun to be a kid again and dress up!  We had a great time at the party and people actually knew who we were...success!!

Sweet & Sassy - Again

Cassidy was invited to another Sweet & Sassy party, which is heaven on earth for her.  This time, though, she got to dress up in a beautiful princess gown!  Oh how she loves playing dress up!

Whitt Fall Carnival

After Trunk-or-Treating, we headed to Stetson's school carnival.  I had to work the booth for Stetson's class, so J took the kids all around the carnival (thanks, Daddy!).  As expected, they had tons of fun!

The kids stopped by to visit the booth I was working and decided to race.  The booth was Tricycle Races, and as you can see, I had a cheerleader and ninja race each other.

They also went around to all the other booths.

From what I hear, Cassidy has quite the arm and aim!

There were many other booths, bounce houses, etc that the kids got to enjoy.  The Fall Carnival is always a hit and we came home with even more candy!  It's not even Halloween yet and we have more than we need.

Trunk or Treat

It's time for the annual Primrose Trunk-or-Treat event!!  Cassidy was super excited to wear her costume to school today and to get to trunk-or-treat with her friends.  It's so fun to be a kid this time of year!

Cassidy decided to be a cheerleader this year, so we reused her costume from a couple years ago. She's still as cute as ever in it!

Skating Party

Our whole family was invited to one of our neighbor's 11th birthday party at the skating rink.  It has been years since I've put on a pair of skates, but we all had so much fun!  All four of us skated the night away.

Cassidy is a great little skater.  She held my hand until she got comfortable, but by the end of the night she was doing great all on her own.

Her friend McKenna skated with us too.

We also had adult races, which brought back lots of memories.  First up...the Moms.  Surprisingly, I came in first!

Next...the Dads!  This was so fun to watch and J did awesome.

Here we all are doing the Hokey Pokey.  This was a first for Cassidy and she LOVED it!

Here is proof that Stetson was there too.  He had a ball skating with all his buddies and not having to stay with Mommy and Daddy.

Wow...it really does feel good to relive your childhood sometimes.  What a fun, fun, night!!

David's Cure

Well, I OFFICIALLY completed my first 10k run today!!  Since my last one was cut short, I had to mark this task off my bucket list.  I finished in 1:04:00.

This is what you look like crossing the finish line after running 6.2 miles.  Beautiful, right??
