Sunday Shakes

After a hard afternoon of swimming and a yummy dinner, there is nothing better than a good ol' homemade chocolate shake!!  Mmm, Mmm, Good!!

They were well deserved and enjoyed by all.  Not much else to say but that!!

CARS 2

I'm not sure how long ago it was announced that Cars 2 was coming, but it was a LONG time ago.  Today, Stetson's wait was finally over!!  The whole family and Gramps (since he takes Stetson to all the movies) went to the first showing of the movie today!

Stetson was so excited to see Cars 2 and to take his sister to see her first movie.

When we arrived, we grabbed our 3D glasses, our snacks, and our seats.  Stetson picked our seats and he did a great job.

Diddy Bug enjoyed taking it all in...especially the popcorn.

The 3D glasses were a hit too.

The movie was wonderful and both kids really enjoyed it.  Afterward, we went to the arcade section of the theater to play a few games.

I'm not sure if the kids had more fun or Daddy.

What a great family outing!!  We had so much fun together and will definitely do it again soon.

Happy Father's Day to all Daddies out there, but especially to J.  You are a natural at being a great father.  Our kids love and adore you, and you are leading them in all the right directions.  You are truly amazing.



Donuts with Daddy

This morning was Donuts with Dad at Primrose!  This was quite a treat for the kids and J for so many reasons.  First of all, Daddy usually leaves right after the kids wake up so they never really get to spend time together in the morning.  This morning, though, they got to spend the morning at home together, ride to Primrose together and have their donuts together!!

Here they are right before we all left.  They went to school and Mommy went to work.

Daddy was sweet enough to send me pictures of their breakfast together!

I am so happy for all of them that they got a break from the "norm" and got to celebrate just how wonderful Daddy really is!  Mommy gets to join in the festivities on Sunday!  :)  Happy early Father's Day, J!!  We all love you more than you'll ever know!!!  xxxooo

Time for Change

Today is Stetson and Cassidy's last day at Primrose of Rowlett.  Stetson has been a student since he was one year old, and Cassidy since she was just six weeks old.

On Monday, they will both begin a new adventure at Primrose of Firewheel.

Why the change?  Well, Stetson will begin Kindergarten in August and we need a daycare that offers after school care with bus service.  Primrose of Rowlett is too far away to offer this service to his elementary school.

Although the kids are sad to leave their "home away from home", they are excited to start a new chapter.  Primrose of Firewheel is closer to home, which is good for everyone!  Wish them luck!
