Who knew the mall could be this fun?!

Today we went to the mall to do some shopping. Stetson was such a good boy that we decided to let him get out of his stroller and play with the other kids in the indoor play area. Oh my goodness...what a zoo! Stetson had a complete blast though. Here are some pictures of our little man at play (sorry for the fuzziness). And when he was done playing, guess who we went to see??? THE EASTER BUNNY! That was a whole new experience for all of us. Stetson was not so sure about the Easter Bunny and really didn't want any part of taking a picture with him. After lots of coaxing, we finally got him to do it. So...Happy Easter from Stetson!

Winter Greetings

Winter will be leaving us in just two short weeks, but it apparently is NOT ready to be gone. Fortunately, we only got an inch (if that) of snow at our house while others in the area got up to 9 inches! Stetson really wanted to play in the snow this morning so we took a quick trip outside.

Wait...what? Snow? It fell from the sky? Really?

And we even got Daddy to come outside before going to work!!

Happy End of Winter!!

This is what happens...

when you are busy updating your blog instead of watching your son! I know...Mom of the Year material.

Work it, boy! You've got some baby fat to work off! I guess that applies for Mommy too.

The Masterpiece

Stetson worked very hard on a project for Daddy today!!

It began with stickers...

Then he added some color...

And where does every work of art go??

TADA! Daddy will be so happy when he gets home from work. GOOD JOB, STETSO!

Mommy...I'm bored!

The weather turned yucky (as Stetson would say), so I picked him up early from school and we went home to play. We had fun eating candy and playing with his trains, two of his favorite things. I HAD to partake in the candy so Stetson didn't feel alone. LOL

Believe it or not, Stetson was actually intrigued by what was going on outside. He kept going from window to window to see how the weather had changed. Was it snowing? Just raining? Sleeting? Inquiring minds want to know!
Does it look different in the front?
Well, that only lasted so long and then the sugar from the candy kicked in. Stetson was in high gear but he was bored. NOT A GOOD COMBINATION. So...you may ask...what does one do in the situation??

HARRASS OTHERS...of course! And the perfect victims were...
It was actually very cute to watch Stetson with the dogs (even though he pulled their ears and tails). He had a revelation and just had to share it with me. "MOMMY...blue is Deuce, purple is Cabela and red is Birdie!" I must say, I was pretty impressed. So now you all have had a lesson as well.

Daddy's Little Helper

J decided to get an early jump on yard work this year. Last year we put Stetson in his wagon as we worked, but this year is a different story! Our little boy is growing up. If only he knew that in the future this will not be as enjoyable for him. For now, it's fun for Mom and Dad to have him out there with us.

P.S. Notice Stetson's choice of toy....look anything like what Daddy is "playing" with???

Finally...

We have finally found something that Stetson is afraid of. Last night we went to a hibachi grill to celebrate Mama Bear's birthday. Stetson was in awe watching the other tables while we were waiting for our turn. There was fire and cooking and volcanoes and even a choo choo train! Who wouldn't love that??

You got it...Stetson!! It was fun when the chefs were cooking at everyone else's table but not ours! I think the first flash of fire when the chef began cooking is what did him in. He screamed and cried...he was truly afraid. I know, it was so sad. It was all downhill from there. Stetson realized that everytime the chef put oil on the grill that there was going to be fire. So, everytime the chef picked up the oil....Stetson lost it. His little lip was quivering and everything. He loves the fire in the fireplace at home, but does NOT like hibachi grills.

Of course, I have no pictures but he did provide entertainment for the other tables.
