Christmas Mission 2014

Christmas Mission 2014 has arrived!  I wonder what our special agents have in store for them this year??  I'm sure Aunt Mo has come up with something wonderful, as usual!

Here goes nothing...
It is time to find out what their mission is.
The mission this year has a theme of imagination.  Our agents have to express imagination by writing a story, a few sentences at a time.  They are to write sentences each month to help spread Christmas Magic all year long.  So exciting!

On top of the mission, they also received gifts to open each day until Christmas.  Genius, if I do say so myself, and very appreciated.  Aunt Mo sure does know how to spread Christmas Magic herself!
We look forward to 2015 and spreading the joy of Christmas throughout the whole year!

Sparklers End of Season Celebration

We can't forget about the other athlete in the family!  Although Cassidy's soccer season was over a while ago, she and her teammates met to get their trophies and enjoy some food and fun. We met at a park so the girls could play.

Not a bad spread for being in the park!
Cassidy was so excited to get her trophy too!
Our favorite Sparkler...#5!
Congrats, Diddy Bug!  You earned your trophy!

WFL All-Star

Although basketball started last night, Stetson has one last football game to play.  He was chosen to play on the WFL All-Star team!  Sadly, he couldn't have #11 so he chose #27 after one of his favorite Packers.
He'll always be our all-star!
The game was scoreless but all the boys had a great time!  There was no pressure this time as it was all just about having fun...and that's exactly what they did.  Football season is now officially in the books.  I'm sure we'll be back next Fall.

Pirates Basketball

It's hard to believe but we have moved on to basketball season now.  Number 11 is back, but this time he is playing for the Pirates!

Let's go, Pirates!
How did he get so big?
Coach Daddy is actually enjoying being in the crowd with the rest of us this time, but he can't help but give a little advice here and there. Stetson loves it!
Go #11!
And the season has officially started!  The Pirates won their first game too!
Stetson's teammates are mostly the boys he played football with, but he knows Lucas from school.
It's going to be a fun Winter!

We've Been Elfed!

Our neighbors are known for a little fun and games, and this holiday season is no exception. We have been elfed!  Basically, someone leaves a present on your doorstep and you have to do the same to two others.  It really is fun.

Anyway, we got some cute stuff from our elf. Check out the glasses Stetson is sporting!  He happened to get his new basketball shoes from Mom and Dad tonight too.
There was a second pair of glasses too!
We also received some candy, which we all will enjoy.  So fun!

Veteran's Day

We would like to wish all veterans a very Happy Veteran's Day, especially those near and dear to our hearts...Gramps, Papa, Uncle Kevin, and Uncle Chris.  Simply saying thanks is not enough for the sacrifices you have made.  You truly are our heroes.

Stetson's class honored all veterans with a program at school.  He is in the middle of this picture in a plaid shirt.
The third graders did a great job!  They sang lots of patriotic songs like "God Bless America" and invited their family members who are currently serving or have served in the military to be recognized. Stetson gives a special shout out to his loved ones!
Here is a closer picture of Stetson singing.
We love our veterans and believe they should be honored every day, but Stetson and his class definitely honored them well today.  A huge THANK YOU to all who serve or have served!

Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals

Our family motto is "Work Hard. Play Hard." Since Stetson and Cassidy worked so hard and did so well the first nine weeks of school, J and I decided that we needed to reward them.  So, what should we do to "play hard"?

We handed the kids and envelope so they could find out.  Inside were four tickets to the Dallas Cowboys vs Arizona Cardinals game in a suite at AT&T Stadium!!
It's not every day that you get seats like this to an NFL game...
Daddy showed them just how cool these seats are...he pointed out the unlimited food and drink inside the suite, how close the players and cheerleaders are, and how far away we sat at the last game.
Even the girls enjoyed the football game!
Stetson loved all the items inside the suite.  This was a jersey signed by Jason Witten.
Whom happens to be Daddy's favorite player (notice the jersey he is wearing)!
Cassidy found a signed jersey of her favorite player too!
I mean really...
She had a direct view of everything she could possibly want to see.  She was eyeing the cheerleaders here...
Our suite tickets gave us access to the area where the players walk to and from the locker room.  So, at halftime we watched them pass by.  They were so close you could reach out and touch them.
But this little boy stayed in this position the entire game.  I think he was dreaming of what it would be like if HE was a Dallas Cowboy.
Cassidy cracked us up because this camera guy was filming her and she had NO idea! He was right up in her face at one point but it didn't phase her a bit.
She made lots of new friends too.
Even though the Cowboys lost, it was still a great game!
We all had an absolute blast!
Before we left, Stetson reached down and touched the field.  I hope it brings him lots of good luck!
"Work hard.  Play hard."  Mission accomplished.
