Egg Time

It's time to dye Easter eggs again!  As the kids get older, this gets so fun to watch because they are pretty self-sufficient and get quite creative.  All I really do any more is provide the supplies, sit back, and watch them work their magic.

Tigers 2015

We added another sport this Spring as well! Stetson decided that he wanted to play soccer again, so he is back with the Tigers and Coach Jeremy.

His first game and he got to be captain!

We just happened to be playing a bunch of boys from his basketball team.  The other coach knew Stetson well.

And they're off!  Coach Daddy is in there too!

Hmm...this field is a LOT bigger.

He's still got it, though!

Go #11!  (Do you notice that he is #11 for every sport)

Soccer is much different this year...they mean business!

It's going to be a wild, crazy, and fun Spring!  Go Tigers!!

Orioles 2015

The Orioles are also back!  With a season of kid-pitch under his belt, Stetson is ready to go this Spring.

#11 got to pitch and he did pretty well!

The boy has a heck of an arm.

But my favorite position to watch him play is catcher.  I know he's my kid, but seriously, the kid is a natural at this position!

He's like a brick wall!  The catcher's mitt Aunt Mo gave him is getting quite the workout as well!

Sparklers 2015

Cassidy and the Sparklers are back for Spring 2015!  Now that she has a season under her belt, we are excited to watch her play soccer this time.

It's amazing what a little experience can do!

Celebrate the Arts

We are so proud that Stetson's artwork was chosen to be in the district wide art fair.  All the artwork was on display at the high school, so we went to see it.

Once we found the third grade section, we found it!

Very abstract, Stetson!  Great job!

Of all the third graders in the district, this was the only section with their artwork.  We are so happy that he was one of a few.

Happy Birthday, Mama Bear!

Even though Mama Bear's birthday was on February 27th, we didn't get to celebrate with her until today.  We invited her over for the meal of her choice (steak and shrimp) and cake!

While we were cooking, Mama Bear got to spend time with the kids.  Stetson read some of his Harry Potter book to her since they both have a love for this series.

 The kids also got to lick the beaters as I finished up the birthday dessert.

 Yum!

 We had a fabulous meal and then it was time to party!

 Mama Bear received gifts and homemade cards.

 As well as strawberry shortcake for dessert!!
