Cassidy is 7 Months Old!

Our precious little girl is seven months old already. She is as happy as can be and makes our family complete. We can't imagine life without her.

Here are her new accomplishments:
  • Sitting completely unassisted
  • Saying "Mama"
  • Teething like crazy (yet nothing to show for it)
  • Reaching forward and attempting to get on all fours
  • Hair! She is getting more hair!

Christmas Continued

After we opened all our gifts, had Christmas dinner, and played with all our new toys, we were all completely tuckered out! Christmas is hard work!

Stetson climbed up in Nonnie's chair and watched Noggin. I'm not sure if the alone time or the quiet time was better for him.

The next day we pulled out all the new toys again! Since there was no time to play outside on Christmas day, we took the kids to the park. As you can see, kids come in all different shapes and sizes (and ages!).

Santa brought J this remote control helicopter and Uncle Drew and Aunt Raquel gave Stetson the one he is holding. Perfect!

Stetson and Alyssa also had fun running wild on the playground.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. It seems as soon as we got to San Antonio it was time to leave. We packed up our car and headed down 35. All I can say is thank goodness for dvd players!!
Thank you, Mom, for a wonderful Christmas and for letting us invade your house. We all had so much fun and hated to leave. We miss you already!

Christmas 2009

We traveled to San Antonio for Christmas this year. We always stay at our house but since we are in the apartment this year it is the perfect year to spend it with family! We had a blast!

Here is Stetson on Christmas morning. Ready and waiting!
And Miss Cassidy in her Christmas bow.
Ok, so maybe Cassidy wasn't quite as ready as Stetson was for Christmas. There was just TOO much excitement for her.
Seriously...look how many gifts there were!
Stetson is a pro at opening gifts this year!
He actually counted how many he had to open. I can't remember the final number but it was a lot!
I just love spending Christmas with kids. They are what make it so fun!
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas as well! We are so blessed to have such great family and friends.

John's Party

Stetson's BFF, John, had his birthday party at the Little Gym in Rockwall. I think these kids are professional gymnasts now considering all the parties they have had at this place! I didn't take many pictures but I can tell you that Stetson has gotten much better!

Here are Stetson, John and Parker having lots of fun.
My little monkey on the rings. It is amazing how much upper body strength kids just naturally have.
And the favorite...bouncing!

We had a great time at the party! Stetson is already talking about what he wants to do for his birthday.

Santa came to Primrose

Santa Claus came to see Stetson and Cassidy at school on Friday!! Mommy is excited because they took pictures and sent them to me!

I'm told that Stetson couldn't wait to get his turn! When I asked him about it he told me that he asked Santa for a jump rope and that Santa gave him a candy cane. The candy cane was a huge hit.
And Ms. Cassidy was just checking Santa out....wasn't scared, wasn't happy...just taking it all in.

Winter Wonderland 2009

Tonight was Stetson's Winter Wonderland program. All of the classes from his school (preschool through kindergarten) got to perform on stage at a local elementary school (aka big school), which was very exciting! The two preschool classes combined and sang three songs!!

Here is Stetson backstage before the program "stretching"...
Hangin' out backstage with John, his BFF!

Entering the stage for his debut...

Getting situated...

And they're off!!

They even added hand movements! Here they would cover their mouths and not say the words (ex: Jingle ______, Jingle ______, Jingle all the ____).

Now they added props...candlesticks.

And for the grand finale...

The Future

I hope to return to Wordless Wednesday next week, but in the meantime I thought I would give you a glimpse of our future. It isn't much yet but it will be.

Sold!
The lot and our future neighbors...
A view from down the street. Our house will face the street the picture is taken from and our driveway will be on the side (on the other street).
This is the first of many photos of this property. It will be fun to compare these to the final product. We can't wait!
