Vacation Day #2 - Lazy Day

For day two of our vacation, we decided to have a lazy day.  This means that we play at home and stay in our pajamas just because we can.  It is nice to not have to rush around and get dressed every once in a while, and the kids definitely agree.

Cassidy played with Stetson's socks and shoes for hours this morning!  She would put them on and take them off all by herself over and over.
Here is Stetson modeling his pjs.
Cassidy wrestled with Daddy some of the time too.  They were constantly moving so I apologize for the blurriness in this picture.
Saturday morning cartoons!
Cassidy "watched" some cartoons with Bubba too.  Do you see his sock in her hand?  I'm serious that she played with them for hours.
Snuggling in the bean bags in the play room!
And then Cassidy came downstairs with this outfit on.  It is hard to see but she has Stetson's socks on again and his camo hat on backwards.  Where does she come up with this stuff?
Then it was Stetson's turn.  He came downstairs looking like this.  Such entertainment!
Oh, the silliness!  I think we lost control at this point.

We decided it was time to get out of the house, so we all went out for lunch and did some grocery shopping.  Our lazy day really only lasted half a day, but it was so fun while it lasted.

After we returned and took naps, Cassidy discovered a new game to play with Daddy.  She would sit on the foot rest of the recliner, count to three, and then Daddy would push it down and she would fall to the ground.  She would giggle and then say "Again, Daddy!  Ready?"
We had a fun day at home (except for our little outing)!  I think Stetson really enjoyed being able to make a mess in the playroom and play with his toys all day long.  Being a kid is so fun and I love being reminded that you can still be a kid no matter what your age.

So glad you guys are sticking to the Staycation mode. Kids looked like they had a blast hanging at home and playing in pj's and playing dress up! Fun times! Enjoy the rest of your time off! You guys deserve it! :)
