Our third day of vacation was not so much a vacation day, but more of a day to get projects accomplished that we have been putting off. We all have items on our list like this, but it doesn't seem so bad to dedicate an entire day to marking it off the list when you have more to just relax. So, that's what we did.
Our first project was to give our dogs more shade. It is just HOT outside and there are points in the day where there is little to no shade. Our solution for now is this...
The dogs really seem to enjoy it and I think they appreciate the relief! We still have many more items on our list that concern the dog run, but this was a critical one.
Our next and final project of the day was one that I dreaded...the garage! Why is it that a garage can get so junky so fast? We have never really organized our garage since we've moved in, so today was the day.

During the makeover we had two VERY GOOD helpers!
Ugh...that's all I can say.
AFTER!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
We still have to hang the wall cabinets but this was plenty for today. It sure does feel good to have that behind us, but not quite as good as the pool felt when we were done. :)

Doesn't it feel wonderful to have that behind you! I think everyone could use a cool shaded tint like the dogs got on days like this! Sheesh! Garage looks great and you 2 had the best helpers for sure!
